“Waiting in Hope”

Advent is the season of waiting to celebrate the first coming, the birth of Jesus Christ. And, is also the season of anticipating His second coming.  Because of the Birth of Jesus Christ, God declared that WE are worth something.  And, that we are not left out of His great plan.  Celebrating Christmas, Jesus' birth, is a time when God shows His great love for each and every one of us.  We not only celebrate Christmas by sharing our love for one another and giving of gifts filled with love to friends and family, but, the main reason we celebrate Christmas is to remind us that His birth is the reason for the season.

While we are anticipating and waiting for the second coming of Jesus Christ, God demands that we fulfill His will.  There are those that ask – “Does it matter if we wait for the second coming?”.  God has plans for each of His children.  But, first we must follow His commandments and worship only Him.  When Jesus comes the second time, He will be taking home all of His children.  So, the answer to the question -  “Yes, it does matter if we wait for the second coming”.
